Introduction
Hello, My name is Lakiera Mouton. I am a passionate 33-year-old Bride of Jesus Christ and dedicated 2nd-grade homeschool mom. As a devoted Founder of Here I Am Ministry, I combined my love for couponing, budgeting, graphic design, and nature walks with my mission to empower others in the art of couponing to prepare for times ahead, master budgeting for kingdom investments, and embrace holy movement while honoring the body as Holy Spirit’s temple. I am always a student first, but I enjoy sharing with the body of Christ the lessons I learned, plus those that I am still learning. Elohim (God the Creator) placed my desire for couponing in my elementary school years when I would cut coupons out of the newspaper, then count them in my wallet as if they were dollar bills or coins, well, because they were. The kingdom of darkness made several attempts to convince me to use body movement and finances to glorify satan. The Most High God that I serve had specific plans to use those desires for his glory. With my unique background in dance/cheerleading and budgeting, God transformed my experiences into valuable resources for humankind to find their unwavering faith in Christ.
My Faith Journey
This is my powerful testimony of transformation and faith with an inspiring story of redemption. I was born on Christmas Day in Port Arthur, Texas. My journey unfolds through trials and triumphs, leading to a profound relationship with Jesus Christ. Yes, I grew up attending a Baptist Church and in April 2009, I publicly joined my church, gave my life to Christ, and got baptized. Then I unknowingly gave my life to satan by participating in my local Delta Theta Sigma Sorority Coalition without knowledge of the spiritual consequences. I moved to Atlanta, Georgia, in the Summer of 2011, and pursued my creative passion for photography. I got serious about my faith journey in 2016. After years of navigating through counterfeit experiences and spiritual battles that satan identified as me getting close to walking in purpose and the promised land. In November 2023, a life-changing 60-day fast ignited my commitment to God’s will for my life. In February 2024, I began full-time ministry, showcasing the incredible power of trust in God’s provision. In March 2025, God showed me tough love by getting my attention in the back seat of a cop car, following my involvement with yet another counterfeit. The path I chose to journey highlights my struggles of overcoming idolatry, trauma, fornication, new ageism, lesbianism, fear, anxiety, inflammation, counterfeits, and so much more. Yet it celebrates the grace of forgiveness and deliverance I obtained because of Jesus Christ's finished work on Calvary. I now enjoy walking my faith journey with divine purpose.
